'The Prince's Tale' was probably one of my favorite chapters of the entire series. I cried. I laughed a little. Then I cried a disgusting amount more. I am a tad ashamed, as I never cry over anything, and Deathly Hallows reduced me to fangirlish howling.
Anyway, only kid-Snape can say 'I've been watching you' and not sound creepy. Okay, maybe a liiitlle creepy... but so sweet and adorable and GAH. SUCH AN AMAZING CHARACTER. Thank you, Jo, for not just 'getting rid of him.' He deserved a story, a reason... and we got it. However flawed Snape was, he still had good in him... still had love... still had that little weird boy from Spinner's End in him </cheesy emotional line.>
...SOB.
I tried not to make lil-Snape look too cute (which is far too hard!) Petunia is sporting that mortified look she grew accustomed to. And Lily... Lily is
@ Petunia!!! That face is priceless. And little Snape is adorabl! That chapter really was fantastic...by far one of the better chapters out there. So glad to see another side to grumpy ol' Snape! He used to be a little shy boy with a crush

And only kid snape can get away with wearing a trench coat without being creepy

Hm. There seem to be deer in the background. I can't imagine why.
Hooray! Man, I think that chapter just made everyone cry. Except me, I was too busy screaming "I WAS TOTALLY RIGHT, BITCHES" and various derivations thereof. x3

Poor Snape, he turned out cool. I never expected him to have a Doe patronus but this explains it all.

I love how even as an adult, he was pretty childish in his affections toward Lily. So adorable.

When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I wasn't a fan of Snape, but when I read The Prince's Tale, I really felt for Snape.
I love this!! Lily looks so young and free, and Snape looks like he needs a hug. >.<

Lilly must've been mortified. Only seven and she already had a stalker.
Little Snape made me so sad though... D:
