Claire Littleton... and, rather shortly, Aaron!

The plane crash and the start of the Lostie journey was chock full of excitement, mystery, and terror. Crazy polar bears, invisible monsters and whispers in the forest... the survivors had no clue what was going on, and we certainly had no idea, either.

Having a pregnant woman injected a new level of fear into the mix. Although Claire was instantly recognizable as a strong and capable woman, she was still carrying around a hiccuping child, and a long list of cravings impossible to quench.

Luckily, Claire was never reduced to being a mere damsel in distress. Yeah, Kate might have been the one kicking in heads and taking names, and Claire might have been fit to pop, but she never plays the 'oor me' card. Claire makes you work for her respect, and never settles for the easiest solution. Considering the circumstances under which her baby was born, she managed to keep rather level-headed.

I'm interested to see if Aaron has any great and important purpose; despite the great build up involving the baby, he's proven to be a rather normal kid until now. No eye-lasers or astral projection. Oh, we'll have to see.

Claire is a sweet and likable character, and her romance with Charlie was rather cute and innocent... it's a shame that she's been pushed to the side as of late. Hopefully, her story will pick up in the final season, and we'll have some closure. Her and Jack can hug, she can see her bay-beh and Mum and wave goodbye to ghost daddy. Or something like that.

Is Claire alive? Has she been asorbed into to Island, as a puppet of Jacob? Why did she leave Aaron behind? Why oh-why did she look so smug in the cabin? How did she lose her baby weight so quickly? Important questions, folks.

A one-time goth, a cool kid, a ghostly guide, a mum, a secret sister. Claire can be many things, but what is she now?
