Oh god. Oh god.
Such a good episode. Lost is getting back into its groove... well, a Locke episode after a Kate episode will always look 20 times better in comparison
Some thoughts:
1) BEN LINUS HISTORY TEACHER. HOLY WHAT?? Podgy sweater-vesty history-teachery flamboyant Ben sort of made me giggle madly and freak out with uncontainable glee. Oh god. I was praying that we'd get to see Ben X sooner rather than later, and huzzah!
There are five billion mysteries and loose ends left on LOST, but in all honesty, the one that I want wrapped up most of all is the Ben/Annie thing. FLASHBACK, C'MON PEOPLE. A part of me hopes against hope that flashsideways Ben is with Annie, 'cause c'mon, that would be great.
2) SADFACED RICHARD.
Seriously, this shouldn't be so funny, but RICHARD, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR FACE?? [link] Such a cute little confuddled ageless man.
You could practically hear the fangirl squeal when Locke cut down a tied up Richard. If you listened closely enough.
Poor Richard has been kept in the dark, apparently. Hey, if someone made ME ageless, I might not ask too many annoying questions.
3) Inside joke. Hurhurhur.
4) The numbers. The names. And Kate isn't Jacob's Facebook friend, or whatever this whole cave thing is about. How did he pick? Oh my goodness!
5) Any episode with Rose is a good episode.
6) Hurley is such a different character in the alt line. Some of them seem quite similar (at least, from what has been revealed), but Hurley's a new man. I guess a life without the numbers has been beneficial.
7) Did anyone else laugh during the funeral scene? Jeesus Ben, you're sort of awkward.
8) Lapidus just keeps on getting better and better. Consistently. I wasn't sold on his character when he first appeared, but he's really grown on me. Dude takes things in stride.
9) Unrelated, but LOL. [link]
10) Did that crab get mentioned in the credits? It did a bang-up job.
