huh.Sora's such a rad little hipster girl. She was never my favourite, but I did beg my parents to let me dye my hair orange and chop it all off. To be fair, the request quickly switched to purple when season two came out, though neither weabooish quirk was ever fulfilled.
Damn though, those digi kids had pretty glorious fashion. I've definitely seen Sora's get-up on art students, as well as Mimi's misguided western pinkness and Joe's hipster layers. Ahead of their times, eh?

But in later episodes I've seen her remove that hat, and ball it up in her hand, like a normal hat... implying it's soft and just bucket shaped. wtf anime with your drumable fabric.
As a male child, I never paid Too much attention to sora, I will admit. She was there, and was into Tai, but maybe into matt? zomg twist ending. But never grabbed my attention like Izzy and Joe and TK and Matt and Tai.
I was just thankful she wasn't annoying like Mimi.
This is a really great drawing. Sora looks quite cute here, and her outfit really is outstanding. It's a shame and season 2 generally suffocated the original cast in green uniforms of death.

I wanted to dye my hair purple, but was dissuaded by the thought of having to redye it every month or have it fade to lilac. I settled for a dark dark red with a purple wash, followed by two years of nearly every natural shade of red imaginable.
That was pretty much my favourite part of the entire show.
