So, to sum it up: they did not disappoint

There were several dude! moments (I can only describe it, using sufficiently geeky references, as the ! that appears above a trainers head when they spot you in
Pokémon.) Lots to chew on for the following, oh, eight months or so. Aestivation would be a fantastic option if work was not mandatory.
How about that frozen donkey wheel ACTUALLY being, um, a frozen donkey wheel?
(okay, technically it was a dharmacakra but frozen dharmacakra doesnt have the same hilarious ring to it.) I honestly didnt expect that, but thats why its such an interesting show. Extreme subtly mixed in with extreme literalness. Makes one wish there has actually been a snake in a mailbox, rearing to snap at eyemakeup-Kate. The wheel almost gave the impression of a ship; requires steering. The frozen donkey wheel scene (if it can be called that without seeming too ridiculous) was oddly touching. Bens obvious emotion, having the leave the island forever... the goodbye with John, the passing on of the torch, the failing at physical labour... oh, and, of course, the Island disappearing. Zap.
You gotta appreciate Jacks hilarious denying that Locke moved the Island. Thank god Hurley put him in his place.
So, those who escaped all have a role to play, and must return. Together. Does this include Desmond, and Walt? Oh, Walt. At least they can play off the fact that he is a massive, deep voiced young man by the fact that a few years have passed.

Im thinking that next season will have a lot of off-island screen time. The oceanic six, seemingly aligned with Ben now, and, well, that brings us to...
Locke. Locke, most popular kid among the Others. Locke, mister heavy-makeup corpse in the strangely short coffin. Holy shit.
They kept leaning towards the its BEN! mentality, which worried me... but the fact that Ben told Jack that they had to bring Locke back makes one think that hell be zombietastic soon enough. Check out the false endings they shot-
[link] Speaking of that final scene, didnt Ben look sufficiently Christopher Walken-like, and Burtonesque? He looked like a character from Sleepy Hollow

I was very pleased. Random tangent- Burton and Emerson need to work together, if only for aesthetic reasons. Cmon, pointy chins!
</end tangent>
Now, back to the Pokémon trainer ! moments: Miles comment made a shiver go down my spine. Mister I talk to dead people telling Charlotte that shes been to the Island before seemed a rather significant point. My first inclination was to go the reincarnation route; people come to the island for a reason, because they HAVE been there before. Or, perhaps she is just a Dharma/Others kid? I like the first option

Maybe its just all the Sailor Moon mentality that nibbles into so many things, and the fact that being chosen and destiny seem to be prevelant themes in the show.
It just seems important that he mentioned it. Thats all Im saying.
Locke (or, is that Bentham?) seems to be keeping busy off-Island. What will the next season bring? I wonder how hell function as leader of the Others. Itll be a different vibe than Ben, and the frequent references to bad shit going down on the Island, as well as Lockes suicide (by Widmore? Or another, powerful source?) make it sound like a rocky road ahead.
Who does Sun blame for Jins death? It originally seems like Ben (especially with her aligning with Widmore, and comments about not being the only one to get off the island, and, of course, that it IS very much Bens fault.) Jack, however, says that Sun blames
him for her husbands passing (that is, if he even died at all. I still have hope for him, what with Daniels boat out there and the fact that he is just awesome enough to survive an explosion.)
Desmond x Penny. Oh, very touching moment. Watery eyes from this cynic, even. I thought they would drag this out more, but what with Bens promise to kill the latter, I suppose they had to jump on it quickly.
Total
Twin Peaks moment with Kate: a backwards talking telephone call, which sounded just a little like Christian. Very creepy stuff. Oh, and the dream/vision of Claire threatening her not to take him back to the Island was pretty intense.
What will become of Faraday, and the zodiac full of people? No freighter, no island... but his character is supposedly to be featured more prominently in the next season, so no doubt theres a wormhole of convenience.
Ben runs like a girl, but the overkill of Keamy made up for it. Badarse.
The comment about Richard and Ben being boyfriends was slightly, um, distracting

How about that obvious fanservice moment of Baywatchesque Sawyer? Oh, and what did he whisper to Kate? Shady past or not, Sawyer is a genuine guy.
Juliet didnt die! Crack out the champagne.
Michael

Seeing Christian as a more prominent (albeit, mysterious) figure is exciting. What, oh what, is his connection to Jacob? Or, is he part of Jacob? Simply one form of a complex entity, or a messenger?
Kate won a few points is my eyes when she smacked Rob Zombie Jackface. You gotta admit, that was a great moment.
Im excited to learn more about Lockes shift to Bentham, who is watching the oceanic six, who works with who and who trusts who, and what, oh what, will befall those left on the island. You know Bernard and Rose will safe the day, ride away on a polar bear and have their own spin-off.
So much more to talk about, but mind = soup. Expect art

Your thoughts? Theories? Crackpotishness? Or, simply fan gushing, bashing, ranting or television humping?
Well Jacob, I hope you're happy,"

No new Lost until WHEN? STONEDUPSETWOOZYSADJACKFACE!

I didn't read anything below your warning, but I just wonder. How will you rate this finale compared to the previous three?
(although I must add my astonishment at hot Matrix!Ben at the end. Was not expecting him to look that good in black)
This is probably my favorite Lost finale yet (and that probably has to do with the amount of Ben, hur hur)! And for a very long time afterward (even into this morning) I was sure my CAPSLOCKE was broken from all my previous freaking out
and I srsly LOLd at the Frozen Donkey Wheel. My first thought was "But hey, Ben is not an ass!" and no one else thought it was funny XD

OMG, I also loved these episodes, they were just awesome. I loved that Des got back to Penny, best moment for me.
Ben was awesome, too, I love him and his bunnies XD
Am I right in guessing, that Ben's timeline after the wheel-turning continues in the Sahara dessert, which we have already seen? If yes, and remember Charlotte has been there too already and wasn't that surprised to finding a polarbear there, is that Charlotte has/will move the island also and is a total Dharma-timetraveller chick XD

Also, when the island disappeared, there was a weird noise in my apartment at the same exact moment. The noise made me laugh at the scene rather than HOMG he moved it! The noise was something like "POINK!"
When Jack told Hurley that Locke didn't move the island, I was hearing it like Jack thought Ben moved the island (with the POINK! sound
