2009 art summary adventures

It's good to look at how your art changes. Is it something that you actually notice? I find it's only the little things that seem obvious at the time... you notice that your noses become rounder, or ears smaller or something. Then, you step back and after six months and go QUOI?????? in shock and awe.

I guess I've experimented with more ways of colouring this year. The biggest change would be the shift to "soft cel shading", if that's what you would call it. It was actually born out of the necessity to make really quick art during the Lost Month Challenge. Another big change was the use of a messier style for comics. Again, deadlines bring on changes in style, amirite?
