If you've never watched Escaflowne, you should. There are many reasons to recommend it, but my personal favourite is the crazed pyromaniac known as Lord Dilandau.

Dilandau is an insane, bloodthirsty 15 year old boy that someone decided should pilot a flame-spitting giant robot. Hijinks ensue! He's pretty fabulous.
